Regarding passenger capacity, the A350 can seat between 315 and 369 passengers in a typical two-class configuration. The maximum capacity for the two variants, the -900 and the -1000, is 440 and 480, respectively. Boeing advertises the 777X as seating up to 384 on the 777-8 and 426 on the 777-9 in a two-class configuration.
That's different from a Boeing 777-300, for which the code is 773. (BA has 77Ws but no 773s.) 777 is the generic code for all 777s. A 777-200 (or 777-200ER) has a more specific code of 772. BA has both 777-200s and 777-200ERs. (A 777-200LR has a specific code of 77L, but BA has none of these.)
Over the years, the Boeing 777 family has proven to be one of the US manufacturer's most popular designs, with more than 1,700 examples of the twin-engine widebody produced to date. The first variant to roll off the factory line was the standard 777-200, which continues to fly today. However, it only does so in a limited capacity. United Airlines
6 days ago Β· The 777-300 is indeed larger than the 777-200. In fact, the 777-300 is an extended version of the 777-200, with a longer body and higher seating capacity. The 777-300 is designed to carry more passengers and has a greater range compared to the 777-200. With its bigger size and increased capabilities, the 777-300 is often used for long-haul
KLM's 777-200 vs 777-300. I just returned from a AMS - SIN / KUL - AMS return in economy class. The outbound flight was on a B777-200 and was fine. I slept quite well and seat comfort seemed reasonable. The return, however, was on a completely full B777-300 and was a disaster. Seat comfort seemed to be much worse, and the aisle was so narrow
Similarly, four wide-body double-aisle models are offered by the company, able to haul large amounts of people over long distances. These are 747, 777, 777 X, and 787 Dreamliner. 777 X (with variants 8 and 9) is a replacement for regular 777, but it is still in development, so you can buy either 777-200LR or 777-300ER from the older generation
